Chapter 2: "The promise and sister of the Yellow Flash"

 It has been few days since the moment whole Ryuunosuke clan perished from existence and it's Leader sent young Katessa to the Konoha with the help of his teleportation jutsu. The scroll with their clan's crest was laying in the house of certain yellow-haired woman living in Konohagakure. In fact she was an old friend of now deceased Miketsukami and the only person he knew was worth of entrusting his daughter in case something would happen to him or his clan.

During that time the young girl was lying unconscious, too exhausted after dragon demon took control of her body and slaughtered her whole village, which was caused by her unstable emotions - anger, hatred, sadness mixed all together. Not to mention the unknown masked man, who on purpose kept fueling it with his words.

Minako Namikaze(1), foruth's younger sister, was very concerned once the young Ryuunosuke appeared in her home out of the blue. Yet she knew exactly what was the reason it happened, just as Toshiro predicted not so long after Katessa was born. That's why Miketsukami asked young Namikaze to take care of his daughter once the whole clan will perish including himself and his son.

She couldn't accept the fact that such kind yet powerful ninjas like those two would ever join the afterlife, with everyone close to her heart who were already dead. She was mourning the first two days but she knew she had to take hold of herself to take proper care about her friend's daughter, not to mention she knew he wouldn't want to see her sad in vain. After all she believed that he will never be gone, just like her brother because they will permanently live in her heart and memories. 

She lent her spare room to the sleeping girl, she guessed she fell into coma after having to deal whatever happened back in the Karugakure. She wasn't sure if Katsa will remember anything and how she will react in the new place, to new faces, to the fact she was left alone here without her family and clan. It will be first few though months of her getting used to the new life, but she already made sure that she will be there to help her get adjusted to it.

Finally, one certain morning, the young Ryuunosuke started to open her eyes, rather slowly to let them adjust to the blinding light, in the room she didn't recognize. She sat up on the bed, looking around with squinting eyes, not being able yet to have proper use of her blue orbs. She rubbed them groggily, furrowing her eyebrows.

Sadly, a temporary amnesia didn't touch the little girl, when she recalled fast what happened before she lost consciousness. News about Toshiro's death, the encounter with masked man especially when his eyes turned scarlet red later and the moment where she raged and lost control of her body. What happened later on resolved too fast. And yet...

She still remembered, even if it was no longer her who caused the chaos later on, but the creature which seemed to appear out of her. She saw everything trough his eyes...

Her eyes blue pupils shrinked at that realization, she started to tremble and once again in her eyes appeared tears, because she saw as the creature destroys the village, she saw how it killed everyone on it's path not saving even a single person. Then the moment when her father came to help protect the village and take the ten tailed beast down. She saw how he transformed in his Doranoshufu form. And the moment when demon dragon shot the tailed bomb in same time when her father cast sealing jutsu at the beast, sealing it away and her body going numb in the same moment, midair. Yet she managed to see how there is no escape for her own clan members, once the bomb hit the center of Karugakure, devouring it completely within seconds in it's blast. That was when everything turned black

She started to shake her head violently, she clutched her hairs, so many questions invaded her mind to which she lacked answers. She didn't understand how things could take such twist within short amount of time. From a simple stroll to her father's office, to welcome her older brother, just to end up turning into monster and being forced to watch how you destroy your own clan. 

And basically kill your own father...

She felt disgusted with herself all of sudden, having this odd urge to puke. She sobbed while not being able to process the fact that her world came crashing down in that very moment. She just found out that she's Jinchuurki of juubi no doragon, because there was no other way for this legendary demon to appear out of nowhere by itself. It also explained why she was treated as an outcast by villagers. She let him wipe out her whole village, blinded by own her anger and hatred. She was always smarter than the rest of the kids around her age, understanding things rather easily sadly it only caused her pain. Now she recalled the words of the man which confronted her before it and let his words sink into her. And he was right, that this cruel world is only filled with violence, pain and sorrow.

At some point she stopped to cry and she hung her head low, her hands falling limply on her lap which was still covered with blanket, she started blankly at her own hands, with unreadable expression on her face. She felt empty, depraved from any of the positive feelings. She knew well that nothing is going to be the same anymore. Everything had no sense for her, that's when she balled her hands into fists and squeezed her eyes shut.

She decided that she won't cry at that moment, because she got fed out with crying like a small defenseless crybaby.

Not like it will revese time anyway.

She went back with her memories to the time before Toshiro left for his last mission. Just the day before that when she hang out with him, relaxing after some of the taijutsu and ninjutsu training, enjoying her favorite dish - sushi, that they occasionally took to enjoy on their break under shady tree.

- You did great today, Katsa. - he said, while putting piece of a rice with salmon in his mouth using the chopsticks. - I believe that you can surpass me somewhere in the future. Even I developed skills of fast learning as you do now, when i was just seven. - he added after swallowing the food.

- It's not true nii-san, no one can be better than you! - she said, pointing her chopsticks in his direction, while chewing makizushi.

- Naa, you will see. - he chuckled after putting away empty box on the grass. - That's why I want you to promise me something. - in that very moment he inched closer to her while still sitting on the ground.

- Hmm? What is it? - she gave him questioning look while still munching on her own sushi.

- That I'll wait the day to see you becoming the most powerful kunoichi this world ever had. And one you will succeed, promise me that you will change the whole world of shinobi. Doesn't matter whatever it will take. Doesn't matter how many struggles you will have to encounter and how many times you will get up after falling down. Don't let anything and anyone to hold you down, because you are capable of more than you can imagine. And that's why I want you to show people the world can be better. Despite the path you will chose to achieve it, promise me that - he was looking her deeply in the eyes while saying every word.

She stared at him but she managed to catch the seriousness in his blue orbs. She nodded due to her mouth being food.

- I want to hear it Katessa. I want to hear that you promise you will achieve every single thing that I just told you. - he extended his right arm towards her, while only showing his pinkie finger after curling his hand into ball.

- I promise you Toshiro, that I will do everything what I can to do to fulfill your words. - she said giving him gentle smile and linking her little finger with his. 

- Good. I will keep on your words. There is no turning back now since we made the pinkie promise to each other. - chuckling, he looked at their locked fingers together.

- I won't go back on my words anyway since you know, I'll never do anything to disappoint you Nii-san! 

- I know - he said with warm smile and ruffled her fair. - But whatever you will do, I will always love you sis and I'll be always proud of you. - in that very moment he embraced her in hug, which she quickly returned.

- I won't let you down Nii-san. - she whispered softly to herself, while clutching the necklace she got from Toshiro, making it his last death wish.

She wasted no time when humping out of bed, still being dizzy from the deep slumber she was in for the past few days. She had many questions and she needed answers, and the person who took her in surely had them, because she wouldn't find herself here by random, especially tucked in someone's bed therefore she made her way towards closed door. 

She pulled on the doorknob and exited the bedroom she was sleeping in. Her eyes saw small corridor with old wooden planks on the floor, which went all the way straight with visible two more doors on the left. She made few steps when she passed wall and saw railing connecting to the stairs leading down. And that's where she headed, going down the stairs that's when she found herself in the small hall with rather big open space. Looking around she noticed entrance to the kitchen, living room and closed doors where she assumed must be bathroom. Her gaze stayed on the larger glass doors where balcony was suited.

She quickly returned it to the kitchen upon feeling someone's presence by sensing their chakra and just before she could make her way there, a head of yellow-haired girl popped out welcoming young girl with closed eye smile.

- Oh, I see you are awake. - she said, while walking out to examine Katsa.

- Yeah - she mumbled. - Where I am?

- In my house and to say more precisely, you're in Konohagakure, which is located in the Land of the Fire. - she answered clearly for the small girl to understand.

- ...I'm in Konoha? - she asked rather surprised by this fact, not really understanding how she got here in the first place.

- Hai and before you will ask anything else, follow me, please. I'm sure that you must be starving, going on two weeks without a food. - the young female made her way back to the kitchen, Katsa following her behind.

- Really i passed out for two weeks? I doesn't even feel like it. - she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

- Yes, two weeks , seems like you had to be really exhausted. - she confirmed and pointed towards the dining table with four chairs at the walls. - Please take a sit, while I will get you something to eat. And I don't take no as an answer. 

- ...Fine. - she sighed and made her way to the table upon taking a sit and as Minako predicted, her stomach made rumbling sounds demanding anything edible to fill it up.

- I already made some bento before you woke up. Is it okey with you, Katessa? - she asked, while glancing over her shoulder at the Ryuunosuke child.

- Um, yeah... By the way how you know my name? Who are you? And how I managed to get here? - she was taken aback, by the fact that this stranger woman knew her name without her even revealing it to her.

- My name is Minako Namikaze, I'm jounin here in Konha and I knew your father for a long time now, he was one of my most trusted friends. You got here with the help of Miketsukami's jikan no shōhisha jutsu(2). A time ago he gave me scroll with the seal in case situation like this would happen, if he was forced to entrust  you under my care. Since he didn't know anyone else who would be reliable enough to watch over you when he... - she trailed off not really knowing how she should touch this subject anymore. - ...wouldn't be capable of doing it himself anymore. Or Toshiro...

- I see... - she said quietly under her nose. - Why they never told me I'm jinchuuriki of ten tails? - she asked with annoyed expression written all over her face.

- Because your father never planned for the things to turn out this way, Katessa. - she, said while turning around with ready bento in her hands, putting it in front of the young girl on the table. - Believe me, he wanted you to have as normal life as possible and mostly, he didn't want you to hate yourself for being host of juubi. With him inside of you or not, your father really loved you and I can tell Toshiro as well. And I guess back in Karugakure, after all it wasn't that good with people pointing accusing fingers at you, without you knowing why exactly they are doing it. - she sighed and looked at Katessa. - Miketsukami always repeated to me, that he felt sorrowful the day he was forced to seal ten tails into you, having no other choise, while your mother was giving birth to you. - little Ryuunosuke was about to question something, when Minako, cut her off, continuing as if she predicted what she wanted to ask, sitting on the chair beside her. - ...He told me to tell you the truth once you will find out about ten tails. Katessa, your mother died while giving birth to you not only because of illness, but because she was previously jinchuuriki of ten tails too. She sealed him in you, even though she that choise alone was already killing her, because the seal was in it's most vulnerable state in that moment and if the ten tailed demon would get out that night, then there wouldn't be saving for no one. Out of all the tailed beasts, he is the most powerful not to mention he's carrying the Rinnengan. He would wipe out all of your clan at once at that day and I doubt anyone would stop him from causing more damage to the shinobi world. Especially if someone with horrible intentions got hold of him, then everyone would be in real danger. You wouldn't be able to spend the time that you had with your father and Toshiro... I was there when it happened. Believe me that I saw how your mother was doing it with tears in her eyes. She knew she will die eventually so she sacrificed herself when she transferred her chakra into you along ten tails as soon as you came to this world. She felt terrible after that but she was happy that you would have your own chance to enjoy the life as much as she did, I saw it in her eyes full of tears and sorrow, but also love when she was holding you for the last time with the warmest smile she could master. She really put all of her remaining hopes in you... She know that you have a future ahead of yourself and she want you to be strong. And to always remember that she loved you more than her own life. I saw it in her eyes... I still can remember it clear as day. Look, I won't tell you that carp about moving on and that things will get better, because I know how it feels to lose someone. I also lost my older brother five years ago, once nine tails went beresk, he and his wife sacrificed themselves , giving their life in front of their own son when they defended him from juubi's attack which went straight his way. I watched how his claw went trough both Minato and Kushina. Just a few inches from Naruto's face, who was a newborn baby, just like you. My brother used Eight Trigrams Sealing Jutsu to seal kyuubi in Naruto, while they both died after in the spot. I was there and saw it all, the outcome of attack of nine tails on the village, and how Minato and his wife die there, giving their own life for their only son. So he could enjoy the life, a life better than they had. To this day I can't really bear with the fact he is no longer here, but I am trying to stay fine, even if at times it's painful because he is alive in my memories... - she whispered.

Young Ryuunosuke looked in surprise at Minako, mouth slightly agape while she was listening closely to every word she spoke. She didn't know what to answer and despite barely knowing the yellow-haired women, she felt a small sympathy for her. She realized that she can understand her pain and how it is to lose someone close to you. Not to mention the part where nine tails attacked Konoha five years ago, destroying village, taking lives of many people, including parents of a boy who seemingly had to face same situation now like her. Without a family, people treating him like some kind of a monster. That last thought made her to furrow her eyebrows.

- Just promise me, once you will encounter Naruto, Katessa, that you won't tell him anything  About Minato, the nine tails sealed in him, and what happened, he can't know because it was what decided by Third Hokage. It would hurt him not to mention complicate everything. He will find out eventually, sooner or later. I shouldn't be telling it to you in the first place, but I wanted you to have visual view, that you are not alone when it comes to losing someone... especially in similar case like yours.  - she closed her eyes. - He's alone, more than you was, having no one to support him, because everyone see only the nine tailed beast in him, he tries so hard to get acknowledged only for others to turn him down. He really doesn't have any friends, myself I visit him from time to time, offering to go either for ramen, or enjoy some talk with him. So he won't feel neglected fully, he's my nephew after all. And I will make sure to look after him as much as I can, as I am going to look after you. - she sent Katsa warm smile.

- I understand and I promise that I won't tell him anything... but on the other hand it's not fair he lives in not knowledge, yet i do realize it wouldn't bring anything good from it. - she said while taking piece piece of salmon, with some rice and cooked vegetables with chopsticks while putting it into her mouth.

- Thank you. - she gave her closed eye smile. - By the way after you will eat, we will have go to the the Hokage. He wants to see you and tell you something since you woke up.

She only nodded and decided to finish her bento. Even though so many things happened lately, Katsa felt a bit at ease, despite being still a little shaky, having all the answers she needed. Still the emptiness she felt, started to slowly claw it's way inside of her heart. She was forced to go trough her life, without Toshiro and her father in the picture, alone. She knew she can't go back on her promise that she made to her older brother. Doesn't matter how painful everything will be from now on, she will have to carry on somehow. To show her brother that his death won't be in vain. And she will try to at least change the world whatever it will take.

With that very thought in mind, she finished her food and Minako smiled, satisfied when she saw the small girl murmuring 'arigatou' to her after getting up from the chair. She was also rather surprised, realizing how strong Miketsukami's daughter have to be, being able to handle her emotions and take everything what happened, rather peacefully. Or at least she tried to.

- Okey let's get going now. - Minako said when she made her way towards front doors.

Katsa only nodded and followed shortly behind. Upon leaving the house, Namikaze closed the doors and made her way across the streets. The little Ryuunosuke was looking around her surroundings, taking in all the houses and villagers who passed them by. She saw in the distance high wall of rock with faces, who she assumed, had to be all the previous Hokages. Of course she knew about them before, on one of her training days with Toshiro, who told her about the main villages of the Five Lands, but she didn't realize that Konoha would be this mesmerizing. And this huge in person.

Minako saw her surprised expression with the corner of her eye and she only chuckled. 

- You will be given your own apartment, luckily rather close to mine. About money you shouldn't really worry, your father made sure you won't run out of it at least for the rest of your life. I don't want to hurt you, Katessa, but being the last of Ryuunosuke clan makes you right heir of whole decline which he left a time ago in Konoha's Bank. But its still secured elsewhere, he made double sure that no one will find about it especially since your clan was wealthiest most of the time. But no worries, each time you will go to the bank and state your full name, they will give always give you the amount you need. - she said rather quietly, only for her to hear with a slight smile.

- I am not really into rich stuff. Makes people greedy and selfish. - she said matter-of-factly.

- Of course but it's only for the basic things you will need, it's up to you, how you will use that money. - she said.

The rest of the walk both females spent in silence and it didn't take long for them to reach the hokage's residence. It looked rather round painted in orange and red colors. They entered the building and made their way towards hokage's office. Upon reaching certain door's , Minako gently knocked instantly hearing raspy 'come in' from the other side. So both wasted no time coming inside. 

Katsa instantly looked at the older man behind desk who had his hands folded under his chin and started straight at her. He curiously studied her blue orbs.

- That's Katessa Ryuunosuke. I already explained her what I was supposed to.  - Namikaze decided to speak as first.

- Very well then. - he said and closed his eyes. - I will get straight to the point. As you know I'm this Hokage of Konoha and my name's Hiruzen Sarutobi. Katessa, from now you will be ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village and therefore here you will attend to the Ninja Academy. And I will already say that's it's not forced upon you but it was wish of your own father before anything occurred, going few years back in the past. The Shinobi World knows that your clan is one of the oldest and the most powerful, that's why you will be under our protection. You, as the jinchuuriki of ten tails, have to remain extra cautious in the future since people may try take advantage of you and also your Metakugan. As I know you activated it already, even if it's just first stage it's only matter of time when you will master it making people with not really good intention, target you even more. Minako Namikaze will be your supervisor. I also wish you for you to get comfortable in Konoha since I give you my word that you are safe here with us. It may take time to trust anyone of us since all the surroundings are new for you but I'm with positive hopes. - at his final words, he glances at her with the same serious expression that he wore all the time. - Other than this, I'm glad to welcome you in Konohagakure.

She gave him short acknowledging nod while wearing unreadable expression. Every sing thing that happened recently made her feel rather empty, therefore taking in stoic posture of her person, which looked rather scary for people since small kunoichi was only five years old. It exactly as the look of an adult shinobi himself who survived countless number of years experiencing nothing more in their life than constant death, violence and pain that this world was filled with without any boundaries.

- Also my condolences for what happened... Person of your age should have childhood opposite of that and not witness all of this slaughter and sorrow. Neither to be forced to take the biggest burdens that life can throw on you...

- Arigatou, but it's not need, that's what this corrupted world is all about anyway. Death, vengeance and suffer. - she snapped rather emotionless, even though she didn't really intended to sound like that. 

Both Minako and Third where taken aback from her cold statement. She was only five years old and yet she was showing sings of being depraved from any kind of positive emotions. She forced herself to mature three times faster than any ordinary kid and more than sure she was smarter than most of the ninjas which are already on their thirty's or forty's. 

- For now it will be enough, I just wanted pass you the basic information. - he sighed. - You are dismissed. Shall as well Minako show your apartment that you will be staying from now on.  The one that belonged to your mother before she moved to Kuragakue. 

- Wait, what? My mother was from Konoha? - she asked slightly surprised.

- Indeed, she was born and raised here by her parents. Her clan originally settled here, even if they were from Kumogakure.  - Hiruzen answered. - But once she met your father and got married with him, she decided to leave with him back to the Village Hidden in the Lightness.

- I see. I may as well take my leave now, I don't want to disturb your duties, Hokage-sama. - she stated respectfully.

- Yes, let's go see your new place to live. - said Minako, who was silent all this time.

- Okey, take care you both and until next time. - Third nodded and both females left the office.

They left Hokage's residence and made their way towards Katessa's new apartment. Since young Ryuunosuke didn't feel like talking, the road was spent in silence. They reached zone in Konoha where located were only old japanesse styled houses suited to live for a single family. House was surrounded by walls with closed gate. It was rather simple in it's structure pale walls decorated with light brown wood. Minako told her it was residence of Mizuno's(3) clan, her mother's former origins. 

They entered the residence with the keys that Minako kept stored in her house. Yellow-haired woman gave Katsa a tour around all the rooms. Showing the main hall, living room with the kitchen, two bedrooms and the bathroom. Whole house(4) looked rather fancy while still keeping the traditional japanesse look.

- That will be everything. You should know the way to my house since we had occasion to pass it by. - young Namikaze said giving the little girl her famous closed eye, gentle smile. - I will leave you now to get comfortable and to get rest if needed. I will come tomorrow to check up on you. Take care Katessa and please eat something. - she handed her keys to the house.

- Fine. And... thank you for everything. - she mumbled, grateful for all the help that Minako gave her.

- Anytime. - she answered. - I'm here for you, from now on, if you need anything. Have a nice afternoon.

And with that she left leaving last survivor of Ryuunosuke clan all on her own. It was the moment that the feeling of loneliness washed over her causing to feel 'oh-so-familiar' now for her pain in her heart. She just stood there and wondered....

"What's going to happen from now on? I'm going to overcome whatever life will throw in my way? Alone...?"

(1) Minako Namikaze (her name means "holy child") - she's gonna play one of the main roles in this story, I plan on making her to be supportive of Katsa Ryuunosuke, being a closest friend to her, nearly like an older sister or even a mother she never really had. Besides I want make some plots in the future including Naruto as well as having one more surprise to come *wink wink*. But that's a bonus , shes basically additional character which often will appear in chapters.

        

(2) Jikan no shōhisha jutsu - (literally meaning "time consuming jutsu")is a teleportation jutsu that allows user teleport anything from one place to another as long as he is using a special seal which comes with this jutsu, doesn't matter the distance. But the user must be earlier in the said place to plant the seal first to be able to transform anything later on.

(3) Mizuno - (Mizu meaning "water", no meaning "field, wilderness", literally meaning "wild water") was clan which was originally formed in Kumogakure. Known member of that clan is so far Nakano Mizuno, mother of Katessa and Toshiro and the wife of Miketsukami Ryuunosuke. Mizuno clan traveled to Konoha some time after it was founded.

Author's note - here I am at the end of the second chapter! I'm really impatiently waiting for making this story at least a bit popular and wanting. It took me 2 days to write this chapter or even three and honestly I don't like the way I keep feeling that my grammar sucks and that I may mix times ;-; But I'm trying my best at this point to make this story as enjoyable for all of you as possible! Chapter 1: "Tears of despair"

It all started on this judgement day...

The village hidden by the blinding light illuminating straight from the sun seemed to be at peace with the trees around it swaying along the light warm breeze. Birds were chirping and the flowers were blooming. The smell of a spring lingered in the air refreshing occupants of the Karugakure. The whole scenery looked full of life with the members of the Ryuunosuke clan smiling to each other, passing warm greetings and helping if that was necessary. The guarding Ninjas on the other hand made sure that not any of the uninvited guests made their appearance near the outside walls of the village with either scowls or stoic looks on their faces.

It was rather mesmerizing to see just a single clan being able to create such cooperating and successful community. With people being very kind and helpful, there was no one from the villagers who could be seen without a smile. Especially those which spent their free day with their families and friends. A faint laughter could be heard for miles from this village but that didn't faze anyone since the village was located in the most forbidden and not easily accessible parts of the Shinobi World. Far away from the main five of the dominating lands. Even if their clan's roots are from the Land of the Fire.

The reason why Karugakure was so out of reach was for the very own safety of it's members. Ryuunosuke since years was targeted by many kind of people around the world especially the Ninjas due to their unique Kekkei Genkai, tons of scrolls with the jutsus known only to the members of the clan and - obviously - the ten tailed demon dragon which for many was a mythical beast since only so few people has ever seen it and the story tells only about nine beasts never it mentioned demon with equal number of tails just like the full form of juubi had itself before it was split into nine separate demons. Beginning from the one tailed raccoon demon Shukkaku ending on the nine tailed demon fox Kurama.

No one really knows how the legends of juubi no doragon* even started. And why Ryuunosuke was the only clan who ever took hold of that demon being sealed into every next Jinchurki trough generations. But the demon could be sealed only in the strongest members of the clan. Always it being head of the clan or one of his closes relatives. It had to be shinobi strong enough to be able get control over Ryuukanuba since he was powerful enough to destroy an entire village of the size of Konoha with the single blast of his tailed beast bomb.

And the current host of the juubi is a five years old girl. The daughter of the current Head of the Ryuunosuke Clan - Miketsukami Ryuunosuke. The demon was sealed within her once her mother died giving the birth to the young girl, having no other choise since Ryuukanuba would easily get on the loose due to his current jinchuriki dying and the seal being weakened by the very same reason. Her mother, on the other hand, never wanted her own daughter to deal with the future consequences of sealing Ryu inside of her that's why she was shedding tears while holding onto her freshly born child for dear life during the whole process. That moment was also heartbreaking for her father and older brother to watch nonetheless both of them would never let it blind them with the love they developed for the young girl in that time. Especially for the Toshiro who looked with adoration at the petite girl in his arms. 

"After all something dies but also something is born and that day the new hope unfolded and he knew it right away  by looking at her blue and  innocent orbs with warm smile on his face".

...But the young kunoichi didn't know that she carried inside of her the most ruthless creature that this world ever created. She was always told that her mother died giving birth while already suffering from the serious disease  -  which wasn't a lie at all either. Because, in fact, Nakano was sick and no one knew exactly what kind of illness she was bearing. One thing was certain that there was no cure for it and it was common for her bloodline to pass it occasionally trough next generations. Thou the juubi stabilized her health during her lifetime until the time she gave last birth. The moment when the seal was the most vulnerable.  

And with that theory the young Ryuunosuke went on with her life for the past five years with this difference that she was the only person in that village who didn't seem to enjoy life as everyone else around her. Always solemn look on her face, light bags under dull blue orbs, sunken shoulders and a thin line painted on her lips. She was exact opposite of how typically kids look around her age. Instead of toothy grin, full of energy and friendly attitude she wore stoic expression being quiet, reserved, and thoughtful. Never really seeking anyone's special attention preferring to be on her own.

The residents of the Karugakure didn't really mind, not wanting to get involved with the girl themselves much less their own kids. They saw her as a threat to the village, especially having for the first time in the history, so young jinchurki as her in the clan. They knew that any small impulse would cause this girl to lose control of her emotions and give the demon dragon advantage of taking hold over her body and starting a chaos. 

They never acknowledged her, only few did at certain occasions due to her being child of Head of the Clan. Aside of that they didn't wanted to be involved into anything which included the small girl. They simply avoided her whenever they had chance for it. And they made sure their own kids don't try to hang out with the kid either.

She was considered an outcast by her own clan by the choices she hadn't will power to interfere with and to individually decide her fate. She was just a small child after all.

But not everyone was treating her like wildfire spreading sickness. There were two people who treated her humanly, not seeing her for the beast that was inside of her. Toshiro and Miketsukami made sure she got all the love she needed and to say the truth it was more than enough for her. Because she always mastered a smile around them especially her older brother who was more often available for her due to her father being always busy as the Leader of the Clan.

Toshiro spent every time he could with his sister either by training her or chilling around a village, familiarizing her with history of their clan same as the history of the Shinobi World, letting her know how exactly Ryuunosuke can be, telling her everything about their Kekkei Genkai, their jutsus, how to master chakra and everything he knew she had to know as well. He wanted to prepare her as soon as he could for everything that life had in storage for her. Especially if he knew he wont be around to support her as he can do it now.

You may ask now.. why?

Because Toshiro was gifted with the ability to see not really clear future but nonetheless we was capable of predicting what was going to happen. The images were always unclear because of the fact that future, if needed, could be changed. He saw ahead many images of the situations that ended up happening in reality... Including seeing his little sister growing up, on her own, without him and her father by her side but with great potential and ambitious goals trough a life which was filled with the pain and sorrow that he despised so much. As much as he felt sad in the inside he knew that certain things cannon't be avoided and often something happens for a reason. And he knew this reason was to let the person he cared about so much grow stronger than she would ever be and watch from above how she achieve things she was born for.

Yes he knew that his little sister is "The Child of the Prophecy".

Katessa Ryuunosuke, the jinchuriki of juubi, the ten tailed demon dragon, descendant of the clan's founder - Chinatsu Ōtsutsuki**, daughter of Miketsukami and Nakano Ryuunosuke, sister of the user Doragon no shukufuku*** Toshiro Ryuunosuke, one of the strongest ninjas inside of the clan.

It was more than clear that the young girl had a big potential but how her life would turn out to be was under a question mark. 

Back to the young Ryuunosuke, she was wandering streets of the village, nonchalantly but slightly smiling, because she knew that today is the day when her big brother is coming back from the mission on which he was sent three weeks ago. Finally she will be over with the loneliness which was starting get to her making her more anxious than she already was.

Passing people she didn't even spare them a single glance, she was focused on the road ahead of her. She was making her way towards Miketsukami's working place in the very center of the Karugakure. She wasn't patient enough to wait at home for Toshiro so she decided to herself wait for him in the office since he should be back anytime soon now anyway.

Upon reaching the giant old japanesse styled building, she entered without thinking twice and made her way upstairs. Before she knocked she made sure that the Head of the Clan wasn't busy with anyone who would, in that time, discuss something with him. Knowing that no one else is heard on the other side, than her own father scribbling something down on some sheets of the papers, she lightly knocked three time. Hearing clear "come in" from deep voice she opened the door and came inside.

The black haired man slightly rose from his paperwork and looked at his daughter, not hiding his surprise why she was searching at this office at this hour. Because she rarely visited him in his working place. Until realization hit him and he smiled warmly at his child. He closed his eyes and sighed, chuckling.

- You know, he's not here yet. - he said, still giving that loving smile to Katessa - Besides I'm pretty sure he wouldn't try to take longer than he should, giving report about mission, after rushing straight to you.
- Otou-chan, but I want see him as soon as possible - she scrunched brows. 

At the way she childishly referred to him, he only chuckled under his nose and stood up from his chair and made his way towards her. He crouched down to her level and patted her head once again giving her his 'oh-so-famous' closed eye smile.

- I know, I know. In fact he should be here anytime soon now.

And just when those words left his lips, the doors to his office suddenly opened, slamming to the walls. Miketsukami quickly straightened himself up at this sudden reaction from two shinobi which entered the room. What caught his attention was in what shape both of the mans were. They seemed to be really injured, with one of them helping their comrade to stand stable on their feet, due to him visibly limping. At this the adult Ryuunosuke furrowed his brows in concern.

- What happend? - he asked right away, but upon noticing lack of the rest of the ninjas and most importantly, his own son, he asked another question. - And where are the others?

Both shinobi looked at each other, a clear sadness written all over their faces. Finally one of them looked at the Leader and decided to speak up.

- They... they didn't make it. We got ambushed on the way to the Konohagakure with the scrolls. They weren't even ordinary ninjas. They all wore masks and they were highly skilled. Finishing each one of us. I never saw in my life someone so fast, agile and experienced. Not to mention each one of them knew the Darkness Release Jutsu. The forbidden jutsu of the Endless Sealing Souls that I thought only our clan had access to.

At that information Miketsukami's eyes shrinked drastically. He knew straight away that whoever was behind this attack, had to know it straight from their meeting when the mission was being discussed. In short someone betrayed their clan. There was still something missing and he turned to two ninjas with new question.

- Where is Toshiro? Why he is not back with you. - he started to get uneasy feeling even if he knew that his son was one of the strongest members in the clan.

They remained in silence. Not being able to look Miketsukami straight in the eyes. Seemingly everyone forgot about presence of the small girl which was waiting with anticipation to know the answer to the question that her father asked young males. She wanted desperately to know already where her brother was. Finally the injured sucked all the air and after letting it go he looked back at the Head of the Clan.

- Toshiro was attacked by someone who was leading the ninjas who attacked us, successfully separating us from him, leaving us to deal with his envoys. I could really tell much where he was i that time, but I can assure u that it didn't took them long to finish each one of us... Until actually Toshiro was the one who saved us when we got surrounded sending us with his Wind Release: Spring Breeze teleportation jutsu. Passing us his necklace and saying to give it to his little sister, saying whatever happens , not turn back and go back straight to the village to warn you. That's when in the distance we saw him transforming into his Doranoshufu form. I can tell you that he was fighting off also something big. And then... - he paused for a second before resuming. - He used your family's forbidden jutsu. Raitorirīsu: Chōshinsei no bakuhatsu**** at least it what i heard him shouting before half of the land was consumed into light, disappearing in the blink of an eye. The radius of the aftermath was amazing and not a single life, trees and even earth itself was left. The only thing left was massive hole, which bottom you couldn't see bcs it was consumed in total darkness. 

- Of course, because it's highly ranked sacrificing self jutsu... - Miketsukami answered to no one in particular, turning his back. 

He stayed silent for a second and walked to the closest window looking outside not really having how to bare with this truth. Katessa on the other hand was looking at the ground dumbfounded. Yes she was really young at that time but to say that she didn't know what was actually happening was a big misunderstanding. Because she knew perfectly what has happend but she didn't let the words sink into her quite yet. 

The man which got necklace from Toshiro, with their clan's crest, kneeled on the level of the small girl and without hesistation putted it around her neck. She didn't even react in fact she wasn't with thoughts anymore with them. In her mind only one question kept repeating itself.

'...Why?'

Before she even realized it, hot liquid was streaming down her cheeks. Her hands balled into fists instinctively, her small and fragile form shaking uncontrollably. As much as she didn't wanted to admit it, it was clear. 'He was no longer with her. He was permanently gone...' 

- Y-You lier.... - she said, sobbing. - You damn lier!

Her father turned in her way, wanting come close to her, to give a reassuring hug that she isn't alone but it was too late because the girl rushed out of the office and the buildings itself. Running as fast as her little legs could let her. Her sight being blurred by the unstoppable tears. She ended jumping on to the roof of one of the closest buildings. Jumping from roof to next roof she made her way towards a place so familiar to her and her older brother not so far from outside of the village. How she passed the guarding ninja wasn't important. All she wanted to do was cry herself out until here was nothing left inside of her.

She collapsed onto her knees, holding herself up with her hands and looking straight at the grass beneath her. Sobbing all over again not being able to catch her breath from the aching pain around in her heart. The moment Toshiro died, her world came crashing down in matter of seconds. She banged her little fist onto the ground after completely bending down her body. Her forehead touched grand when she slumped there grasping the grass for dear life.

- Chikushou! - she cursed under her breath.

To know such words in age like this was nothing new for her. She was more familiar with those kinds of words even if Toshiro always forbidden her for using them. But at this point she didn't care he left her anyway in this cruel world. With the burdens she couldn't bear all alone. To her, he was the only person keeping her sane, somewhat in stable condition and now he was gone. And nothing would turn back the time.

In the very same moment she roleplayed every single moment of her life with him. In all the good and bad times. They came flashing in an instant in her head, one by one, making her feel  dizzy and having the urge to puke. The new wave of pain rushed trough her body with unimaginable kick where she started to shiver all over again not being able to bear with the harsh reality that all what she went trough with Toshiro is going to stay in her memories, haunting her for the rest of her cursed life. 

It was already twilight in the Karugakure and there she was laying down, broken and defeated. Not being able to handle this pain. She felt empty, depraved from every positive emotion. She barely had any of them, but still they were there, with Toshiro always reminding her how important they were. But now with him gone, she had no reason to even try fake anything. She picked herself from the ground and sat under a tree, she brought her knees up and wrapped her arms around them, hiding her face while sobbing quietly.

It was not long after she felt presence in front, hearing light sound of crunching grass under someone's foot. But she was too devastated to confront anyone who was trying to approach her. Until the person spoke, a voice she never heard before. Deep and smug.

- The life is really unfair, isn't it?

She looked up at the mysterious man infront of her. She couldn't really make much out of his appearance due to it being dark already and him having a completely dark cloak. She couldn't really make out of his face either since he seemed to wear matching the color of his cloak dark mask.

- Who are you? - she questioned, alarmed  she quickly got up.

- I would say that's really a good question. Who may I be? - he said scratching his chin, faking contemplating about Katessa's question. 

She only frowned looking at him, she wanted see at least his eyes but due to his dark outfit and it being already late she felt rather helpless in doing so so she focused staring into his mask instead, assuming that he have some kind of holes in it, being able to see her instead.

- What do you want. On your place I wouldn't be here - she said in warning manner.

- Why is that so? - he said. - I don't really see anyone nearby trying to do anything about that pain u are bearing right now inside of you. - he said matter of factly.

She stayed silent not really having answer to his statement. She stared at him dumbfounded, wanting to know who that man was and what he was doing so close to her village. And much less, how he managed to find it in the first place.

- No answer, hm? Tell me Katessa-chan... Isn't the Shinobi World for you too cruel to the point it disgusts you how it can be filled with so much hatred, pain, sorrow, violence for either power or simply trying to be on the top, above everything and everyone else. Even the need to have money can make people go mad. - when he said that he came closer to the young Ryuunosuke but it didn't do much since she couldn't really see him with all this darkness consuming them, especially if they were in the shaded place. - I belive that pain is the best teacher and it makes us stronger, wiser and breaks the limits of our own capabilities. The only place limiting us will be always our own mind. Tell me.. how do you feel now after your brother died?

Her eyes widened. How on the hell did he know about this? 

- How... - she asked silently.

- Because I know everything. - he said, with sick sound of proudness in his voice, looking at her in challenging way trough his mask. - Tell me Katessa, don't you want to pay back the debt? Will you let your brother die in vain? You see just how corrupted this world became. No one will back off from anything. Even if it means slaughtering the innocent, mugging the poor and deluding the believers. He didn't deserve to die the way he did and you know it yourself. This world never deserved kind and tender people like him. And yet someone took it from him, without any warning... Your village is responsible for that. By sending him for a mission to save their own asses. When they were hiding there like cowards he was doing all the work. Don't let his death be in vain and go for your revenge.

She couldn't master a single word from her mouth. She looked at his red eyes, her blue orbs shrinked to the size of peanuts. It didn't took long for her to to feel something new. For the first time she felt something that she never felt before and it was a really overwhelming feeling. It was a pure anger and hatred mixed all together. 

The eyes of the masked man suddenly flashed with red color, meanwhile smirking, which the young girl couldn't see anyway. As soon as she looked into those red eyes with envy, she snapped. Her eyes pupils took vibrant color of purple and her iris turned thin. The juubi took control over her body due to the child's unstable emotions and in seconds he was the new owner of his jinchuuriki. Ryu looked in into eyes of the unknown men with will to murder, only to end up getting in the unknown's man genjutsu, locking the beast in Katessa's body completely in his paw.

- Now let the real show begin. - after saying those words his red eye went onto another stage and a giant poof of smoke appeared where girl previously stood.

Once the smoke fell down, in his full glory was standing legendary ten tailed dragon demon. Growling and trashing it's tails in all directions destroying everything what was in his path. The purple color was shown in it's eyes, revealing the rinnengan afterwards the demon roared menacingly. The man jumped high and landed on Ryuukanuba's head looking at the walls of Karugakure.

- Charge Ryuukanuba. - he shouted and the beast did as was told.

Juubi charged with full speed at the village, in matter of seconds destroying surrounding it wall. People started to scream, running outside in the middle of the night, awoken by the shriek of the almighty beast standing above them. Looking furiously around, marching forward destroying every single thing and building it encountered on it's path. 

It was night of terror for the Ryuunosuke clan. The beast was killing families... Mothers, fathers, children, newborns... It wasn't saving anyone. Ninjas tried to defend village as much as they could, but even their powerful jutsus didn't seem to faze the demon only to anger it more. Doesn't matter if some of the members managed to activate their Kekkei Genkais on second on third stage.

Some of the more skilled ninjas in Karugakure managed to harm beast in one way or another, slowing it's attacks from time to time, but it was until that very moment when the demon got furious and its tails came straight near his snout, he opened his jaws wide and a dark orb started to from itself.  Just when he launched the Tailed Beast, Miketsukami in the very same moment arrived on the scene and teleported it away from the village with his Time Traveling Jutsu.

That's when the real battle started between all the shinobi from the village hidden in the lightness and it's Leader against the tailed demon. The battle was long and though but the loses in the mans being capable to fight started to be serious so Miketsukami activated his Metakugan and transformed into his Doranshufu***** form.

He knew he won't win this fight since it was the juubi itself with rinnengan that they were facing not to mention from they couldn't get additional help from nowhere. For the first time he cursed himself that he let his clan be under hiding for so long.

He bought some time in his current form to match with Juubi in strength but he knew that his Chakra's resources are wearing thin unlike's the ten tailed beast's which had uncontrollable loads of it. But it was enough to prepare the Sutadoragon no fūin also known as the 'Seal of the Star Dragon'. Just when Juubi jumped high into the air and loaded all his chakra into another, bigger and stronger beast bomb, Miketsukami charged in his form towards his direction, changing back into his human form he did the hand sings and around his face appeared markings. He touched the beasts chest in the mid-air in the very same time when it launched it's bomb at the village, from Miketsukami burst out a glowing japanesse dragon and it roared loudly. The bijuu was chained and the dragon , just like snake, wrapped itself around his body squeezing tightly, the light started to surround the demon before completely dissapearing in matter of seconds in the blinding light, leaving Miketsukami barely alive but catching his unconscious daughter in his hand and with the last remaining strength he teleported himself and her far away from the blast that was caused by the tailed beast colliding with the village.

That was the moment where he looked over his shoulder seeing what used to be Karugakure. Nothing left aside of the giant hole in the ground. He was sure that no one made it alive especially since he couldn't sense presence of anyone as before.

He looked at his daughter in his arms, when he weekly smiled and kissed her forehead. Silent tears streaming down his cheeks, while he caressed Katessa's face gently. 

- Whatever will happen from now on please don't blame yourself. I will always watch over you and I will always love you , no mater what path you will chose. Goodbye my sweetheart. - and with those last words he painfully mastered to do some hind signs after touching his daughter's chest. 

She dissapeared from his embrace and he looked up in the sky, tears still in his eyes. Moon was reflecting his pale skin when he closed his eyes and sighed, a sad smile plastered on his face.

- Please take care of her. And protect her whatever it will take. 

And with those last words his body gave in and turned into lighting dust, carrying it with light breeze into a distance. The sacrificing seal took away his last breath. And body. 

The existence of the Ryuunosuke clan came to an end leaving the last survivor... Katessa Ryuunosuke.

*juubi no doragon - literally meaning "ten tailed demon dragon",

**Chinatsu Ōtsutsuki - he is going to be major oc in the future of the story,

***Doragon no shukufuku -  means "the dragon blessed", in short I will be using "Doranoshufu" it's going to be explained in the story, in short, as the name itself says, it's literally a blessing which allows the user of Metakugan use their chakra to transform themselves into a powerful entity, taking in form of an actual animal, their appearance depends on the main character trait of the user (at some cases the power who mastered this blessing is equal to those of the tailed beasts and susanoos of really powerful Uchihas). It also let the user cast attacks and jutsus with the most dominating Nature Type in them. In Toshiro's case it's going to be Wind Release. When using Doranoshufu, Toshiro takes on a form of a giant Eagle due to his main character traits being both leadership and opportunism. That's his form:

**** Raitorirīsu: Chōshinsei no bakuhatsu - literally meaning "Light Release: Supernova's Explosion". A really old and highly advanced jutsu which includes self sacrifice. The user starts to glow and his eyes become swollen by darkness. It's mix of owner's chakra with nature's transformation, Light Release, Darkness Release, Yang Release and Yin Release. When mixed together it becomes unstable load of unlimited power source exploding within seconds, faster than actual light with no time for escape to whoever is near. The outcome of that is everything in it's path is perished from existence due to it's destroying power. Including the user itself since there is no way to escape this matter eating explosive jutsu. People belive that life was created by a such explosion therefore this explosion is taking that life away. The radius of it depends on the amount of chakra which was put into the jutsu in short amount of time.

(Author's note) - Thank you for reading my story, I will try to make it as interesting as I can, also I would like to know your thoughts about it so far. Since I'm from Poland, I don't really have a proper way to write without mistakes or build sentences otherwise. I'm not so good and fluent in english yet. But be sure that I have many ideas how to build this story in the upcoming future. Even thou it's been 3-4 years since I finished watching Naruto, and may forgot a lot of things, I will try to refresh my mind, as much as I will able to.  For now I would like to know how u like this story so far, I will try update whenever I will have time to, but it may take time since I am gonna make each chapter long to put as much action as I can.
